# Bolt On ARRI Dovetail (8 Inch)

Bolt On ARRI Dovetail (8 Inch) is a lightweight ARRI standard dovetail with an 8-inch length, end-to-end.

Alternating 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes in 1-inch spacing (25.4mm) allow the dovetail to be attached to any other tripod plate, like Sachtler, OConnor, Manfrotto, Ronford Baker, Miller, etc.

Safety stoppers and push-button release mechanisms are on each end for easy attachment and removal. The top safety stoppers catch every type of ARRI dovetail clamp, including thinner variations like the [Baseline 15mm Baseplates](https://www.mid49.com/collections/15mm-lw-baseplates "Baseline 15mm Baseplates"), Wooden Camera baseplates, and other 3rd party products.
