# Sony FX5 EVF Cable Handle Riser

Sony FX5 EVF Cable Handle Riser allows both the FX5 EVF (DVF-EL1) and the FX5 XLR Handle (XLR-H2) to be attached simultaneously.

The extension cable base screws into the FX5 body using two captive 1/4-20 screws, and the Mi-Shoe adapter slides in from the back and attaches to the cable base using two M4 captive screws.

All 21 pins on the Mi-Shoe pass through, so any Sony / 3rd party Mi-Shoe accessories can be used. _Note that traditional camera flashes will not work on the hot shoe._

Once both components are on the FX5, Sony's XLR-H2 handle can be installed, and audio will pass through to the camera body.

The EVF end of the cable has two 1/4-20 holes for attaching the DVF-EL1, one 1/4-20 with ARRI locating pins on the side for attaching the included TWIST Mount EVF Spud, and one on the bottom for general use.
