# Upper Cage for Canon C50

Upper Cage for Canon C50 is a form-fitting cage with 1/4-20, 3/8-16, and M4x20mm ARRI MAP threaded holes in several places.

  

The included HDMI lock with reduction inserts protects the camera's HDMI port from abuse.

  

Left side camera tie-down keeps the C50 from tipping under the force of focus motors. Rear handle tie-down adds stability to the handle-body connection when using heavy lenses.

  

Lower ARCA Swiss dovetail has an adjustable lens support clamp with three included lengths of 1/4-20 support screw that attach to 3rd party lens adapters like Metabones, etc.

  

ARCA Swiss dovetail attaches to the [Baseline 15mm Baseplate](https://www.mid49.com/products/baseline-15mm-lw-upper-cage-canon-c50 "Baseline 15mm Baseplate for Canon C50") to provide rods at the correct lens height, which is sold separately.
