A modular cage for the FX5 that includes:
A mounting cheeseplate that attaches with two 1/4-20 screws, has a swing-away HDMI clamp and included reduction inserts, and 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes with ARRI locating pins.
Attaches to the right side with a slot tab, 1/4-20, and M4 bullnose screw to provide additional 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 mounting points, along with a contoured thumbrest for easy camera gripping.
The base of the cage attaches to the camera with two 1/4-20 screws and a front lip to make sure the camera is aligned correctly. Mounting points on all sides make rigging easy, and a recessed area allows battery door access.
Below the base is an included ARCA dovetail with 3 lengths of 1/4-20 support posts for attaching to 3rd party lens adapters like Metabones, etc.
Side-loading rear filter lens adapters are compatible with the cage as cage components do not obstruct the lens area.
Spans from the base of the cage to the back of the XLR-H2 handle, giving the cage and handle the stability needed for heavy lenses along with additional length for easier grabbing.
Quick-release 15mm LW baseplate with ARCA Swiss camera dovetail interface on top and ARRI standard dovetail interface on the bottom.
Two stainless steel
15mm Rods (9 inch) are also included.
